Removing Items from the start menu - Windows 10

Do you find that old program shortcuts remain in your Start menu even after you uninstall the software? If you want to clean up these remnants but still have folders cluttering up your Start menu, there's an easy way to do it. To clean up your start menu, follow these two simple steps:

1. Open any folder on your computer.
2. Enter any of the following lines in the search bar:

%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

The first path will direct you to a directory containing all Start menu entries for programs installed "For everyone" on your computer.

%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

The second path leads to a folder containing shortcuts to programs installed "For me only."

Navigating to these locations allows you to easily delete leftover folders and keep your Start menu organized and clutter-free.
